This is used for access control of the entrance door. The unit has two parts; viz, the door latch/unlatch mechanism and the intelligence imparting unit that makes the system transparent to valid and authorized users and non accessible to others. The latch/unlatch mechanism is designed to sustain heavy pressure and also against sudden impacts, like kicking. The system is housed in SS casing and partially grouted in the door frame/wall, for high mechanical strength and support. The intelligent unit comprises of circuitry that actually controls the electronic lock A keypad is provided that allows the user to manually latch/unlatch the door. With the video door phone system, latch/unlatch command can be issued from the same unit, relieving the user from physically approaching the door .If a keyless system is selected, a valid card when flashed, will automatically open the door for the user. A 10 seconds password timeout feature ensures only valid accesses. Many unique safety features are incorporated in this access control system. All events of the door can be recorded in the central console, incorporating the i-bus.
